Want to get really creative? Our paint-along parties bring Boss Ross – style, chilled-out fun to your event. Whether you have 10 guests or 100, our professional artists will lead your group in a step-by-step creative process to create their own works of art!

What to expect
Your guests will settle down for a 1-2hr long group painting session where they can paint, chat, and snack or sip.
Our professional event artists will lead the group step-by-step to create an amazing work of art!
At the end, everyone will be able to take home the canvas they painted.

Art options
Our paint-along parties have a variety of paintings you can choose from at the time of booking.
You pick what you want your guests to paint, and our artist will come set up for the group to paint along to the same image.

Logistical requirements
Paint-along parties need a fair share of space, tables, and chairs. Here’s how to make sure our professional party artists are set up for success:
- An indoor room with easily washable floors
- A chair and table space for each guest facing the same direction in a room (where the professional paint-along teacher will be showing the steps)
- Access to water within 50′ of the room
- Access to the room 60min before and 30min after the designated party time. (For example, if your paint-along party is scheduled from 2pm-4pm, we will need access to the room from 1pm-4:30pm.)

Past & Present Clients

Interview with Marissa: Professional Event Artist
What makes a great event entertainer?
High energy, technical skills, flexibility, and being a bit of an extrovert. I’m a bit hyper active so it’s a fun job to put my energy into!
How did you get started doing paint-along parties?
Way back before I was able to be a full time airbrush artist for parties, I was an art teacher where Kenny was actually my boss! So I had the art background and the teaching background, when a long-time client of ours asked if we could run a paint party for them.
I did some research and was confident in my ability to do it, although for a while I really had to experiment with the tricky event aspects of it (making sure I had the right supplies, setting up and breaking down a traveling space, figuring out the best containers to quickly pour paint…)
Now it’s one of my favorite things to do at events!
When do you recommend paint-along parties for clients? When don’t you recommend them?
I recommend them for structured event programming as part of a series, so like colleges looking for substance-free weekly events, summer camps looking to fill a weekly enrichment spot, or a corporation looking for team building exercises. I think letting people sign-up helps the right people come and build great energy together.
I really don’t think paint-along parties are for small children. I have teaching experience, but it’s not a baby sitting service (I can’t give the same kind of structure I can in a classroom) and kids often don’t have the attention span to finish a 90min painting.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Meeting some party guests over and over for different paintings! It’s really cool how their confidence builds with every paintig, and I love when they come back to show me how the paintings they worked on are hanging in their home somewhere. I love making art so much, so it’s nice to see them have the same joy I do!
You travel a lot as an event entertainer and professional airbrush artist. What are your favorite day trips in New England?
I’m from Connecticut, but if you invite me to your state you should know I’m going to make it a fun trip haha
Some of my favorite places clients have sent me are:
- Portland ME and Old Orchard Beach ME. If you hire me for your event up there, I’m getting a hotel in Portland, picking a new restaurant to try, and going to Old Orchard’s board walk (if it’s in season) on my way home south.
- Salem MA and Peabody MA. We acutally used to have an office up there (we moved it because October traffic was just too much, iykyk) and I love the downtown and walkable beaches.
- Cape Cod, but only off-season! Unpopular opinion, but the lack of traffic and mom-and-pop stores and restaurants are better than in summer. I said what I said.
- Milford NH! We have an office there now and there are some great restaurants in town. I normally get an AirBNB nearby and visit some local garden centers and nurseries while I’m in town.
I love Vermont and Rhode Island too, but those are my favorite spots to be hired as an airbrush artist for events!
